Opening for a Full-Time and PRN Day shift Respiratory Therapist.

Qualifications:

Education: Must have graduated from accredited respiratory therapy program and be certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Experience: 2 years’ experience preferred, but willing to work with the right candidate.
Certification/Licensure: Must be licensed under applicable Kansas State laws as either a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS certification is required within the first 2 weeks of hiring and ACLS is required within 6 months of hire date.

Working Conditions: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week. Will be required to work every 3rd weekend and some holidays.

Pawnee Valley Community Hospital (PVCH) is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in South Central Kansas. We offer 24/7 emergency care, med surg, and swing-bed. The Respiratory Therapy Department offers a wide range of services including: Pulmonary Function Testing, Non-Invasive Cardiology Testing, and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab.

Opening for Full Time 2nd shift Registered Respiratory Therapist

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must have graduated from an AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Must be Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Experience: A minimum of two years experience is preferred. Experience may be gained through educational and clinical experience.
Certification/Licensure: Must possess a Certificate of Registration through the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Must possess a certificate of Registration from the State of Kansas as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is predominately scheduled for eight hour shifts, but some twelve hour shifts may be required. Required to work weekends, holidays, overtime, rotate shifts and take call. Must meet hospital dress code. Shift Hours This is a position working 39.000 Hours/Period working 3:00 PM TO 11:00 PM
