The KRCS is invested in our Students and recent Graduates!

  • Russ Babb Memorial Scholarship

    Due March 1

    KRCS offers a scholarship to be awarded annually to a worthy student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program in Kansas. The 2024 scholarship amount has yet to be determined, but will be between $250 and $750; this amount will be based on the number of total applicants and the number of scholarships awarded.

  • Jeff Scobee Leadership Development Award

    Due September 3, 2024

    The award will be given annually to a student or recent graduate who desires to attend the AARC House of Delegates meeting and observe how the professional association conducts business on the state and national level.

    • Currently enrolled in a CoARC accredited respiratory care program or

    • A post graduate within 24 months and employed within the respiratory care profession

    • Be a student or active member of the AARC and KRCS

  • Debbie Fox Legislative Award

    Due March 11, 2024

    Formally known as Advocacy Week or PACT Week, the Annual Respiratory Care Fly-In is a time for respiratory therapists to come together in Washington, D.C. to fight for their patients and profession. Up to $1000 is given to a respiratory therapist who desires to attend the AARC Capitol Hill Advocacy Day in Washington DC and become an active member of the Political Advocacy Contact Team (PACT) on the state and national levels. The award recipient will agree to a 2 year commitment to participate in the AARC/KRCS legislative and advocacy activities.
