Washington DC PACT Meeting will be
March 5-8. The AARC and PACT members have high
hopes for success in passing our bill to include
respiratory therapists under the Medicare Home
Health benefit. Bills were introduced into
both the House and Senate last year. We were
successful in signing both Jerry Moran and Jim Ryun
on as co-sponsors of the House Bill. We hope
to have all four Representatives sign on as
Co-sponsors when the bills are re-introduced this
year. We are also talking to both Senators
Roberts and Brownback regarding the Senate Bill.
We will be conducting an email/fax campaign in
February to show our support. More information
will be coming and your help will be needed.
