Clinical Coordinator Position Summary:        

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for management and clinical responsibilities as a member of the Respiratory Care Services Department and management of the daily clinical operation of the department and works closely with the Respiratory Care staff members as well as collaborating with other members of the patient care team. The Clinical Coordinator will exemplify the actions and performance of a leader, accepting the responsibility and accountability for that role, designing, implementing & supporting improvements to departmental practices and operations. The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Director of Respiratory Care Services.

Minimum Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Care

Minimum Experience

3-5 years respiratory care, critical care and high-risk
nursery experience.
3-5 years supervisory experience.

Required Licensure / Registration

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT),
Kansas licensure as Respiratory Therapist;
ACLS Certification, NALS and/or PALS Certification.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Certificate / Registration

Pulmonary Diagnostic Credential (CPFT/RPFT). 
Member AARC

Children's Mercy Hospital


This Asthma Education Coordinator position involves the development, implementation, teaching, and ongoing improvement of the curriculum for the Children's Mercy Family Health Partners' Disease Management program.   The educator will provide disease-specific education to providers and their staff on how to diagnose and manage chronic diseases per national guidelines.  This position includes working independently and proactively out in the community to enhance and promote asthma awareness and self-management.

  Requirements:  Bachelor's degree, 3 years experience, current professional license in state of practice as RN, RT or MSW for preferred applicants.  This position will be based in Topeka, KS.  AE-C preferred.  If not, must obtain within 6 months of employment.

Respiratory Therapist Needed!

 Bob Wilson Memorial Grant County Hospital, in Ulysses, Kansas, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Respiratory Therapist.  The right candidate will have graduated from an accredited school, and will have or be eligible for Kansas licensure. You will administer respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under supervision of a Physician and by prescription. The right candidate will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Kansas State License, and ACLS required.  Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of progressive management experience preferred.   

This position will oversee inpatient hospital, out patient pulmonary rehabilitation and homecare operations.  This operation serves the South-Central Kansas area. 
 

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST 

Must possess current Kansas state license, CPR certified, CRT or RRT preferred.
