This is a highly skilled, technical position, responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures. This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance, in patient care units and critical care areas. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.

Respiratory Therapist – Kansas City, MO
Full Time
Responsibilities include:
- Review each campus programs’ annual report prior to submission to Home Office.
- Interview candidates for Respiratory Therapy Program Director and review employment applications for prospective instructors, for each campus.
- Assist and review self-study documents prior to submission to Home Office.
- Review state and accreditation documents prior to submission to Home Office.
- Conduct annual meeting with program directors at annual Co-ARC convention, similar event or webinar.
- Work toward standardization of curriculum for all Respiratory Therapy programs within Concorde. Establish standardized equipment, teaching aids, and learning resources list for all Respiratory Therapy programs.
- Assist with the development of new Respiratory Therapy programs at campuses developing new programs.
- Assist in the development of new programs associated with Respiratory Therapy programs.
- Visit each campus with Respiratory Therapy program at least once each year.
- Weekly calls to programs and weekly reports to Home Office.
- RRT credential
- 2 years experience as an educator for an approved Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) campus
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Masters preferred.
- Current State license or certificate
- Must be capable of teaching both the Clinical and Didactic aspects of the program
- Management experience required or acceptable equivalency in Concorde Career Colleges experience
- Teaching experience required.
- Must also meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications
- Experience in a corporate multi-unit similar position desired.
- Up to 75% travel or as business necessity dictates.
